Louis Sakwe, NP.
Louis, a caring and clinical expert, brings both heart and expertise to every encounter when it comes to caring for aging adults. His commitment to elder care began in 2012 when he started as a Certified Nursing Assistant in nursing homes while pursuing his undergraduate nursing degree. Louis further enhanced his clinical experience in high-acuity hospital settings, including Carilion Roanoke Memorial and VCU Health. During his time there, he honed his bedside skills and developed a strong foundation in compassionate, patient-centered care.
As a board-certified Adult-Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner, Louis worked with Carelon (formerly CareMore), where he dedicated himself to delivering personalized, evidence-based care that supports older adults’ physical, emotional, and social well-being.
